Lakeside

With the coming of spring the weather is so much better.
The locals are starting to come out of their houses, almost like bears after hibenation.

Our place leads onto the local lake shore.
It's actually a river that has was dammed about 20-25 years ago.
They don't seem too concerned with conserving environments / keeping nature the way it is round here.
Just do whatever it takes to make life more comfortable / interesting.

A lot of people fish on the lake with boats or just cast from the shore.

This shore is about 100 metres from our doorstep.

It was one of the things that we really like about the apartment we are in.
I don't know what it'd be like to be a long way away from the coast, not good, I feel myself.
