Down at the Lake Lavon
On any long weekend during spring and summer, JoeH (one of the engineers from L3), books a couple of camp sites at a place called Clear Lake Park and sends out a blanket invite to come spend some time.
28 May was memorial day. Pretty much like our ANZAC day.
The night of the 25th there had been an almighty lightning storm, and there was a fair amount of water laying around on the 26th.
We weren't going to go until Sunday cause it was raining in Rockwall.
But AlanM rang to say the weather was really nice out at the lake and so we went out there.
The weather was all right, but started turning a little windy after a while.
Next to the site was a puddle...
We tried really hard to keep the kids away from it.....
We failed

Miserably....
